Online Delivery & Returns

Firstly we would love to see you in one of the Wave Jewellery Showrooms In Royal Exchange Arcade Manchester, or Finkle street Kendal, please visit and one of our experienced jewellery advisors will look after you and create a memorable experience for your special purchase.

We advise making an appointment to avoid any disappointment, if you wish to view a specific item on the website we can make sure the jewellery is in the particular store you plan to visit and not out of stock or recently sold etc. To visit one of our showrooms and view our jewellery collections, please call one of our store assistants on 01539 729805 or (+44) 1539 729805 (for overseas clients).

Online Shopping at wave contemporary jewellery

Wave Jewellery specialises in high quality precious and semi–precious jewellery created by designers mainly from the UK and others from around the world. Many collections featured are exclusive to Wave Jewellery. The website and the jewellery stores across the United kingdom all show a broad unrivalled range of modern, classic and contemporary jewellery in platinum gold, titanium, steel, palladium and silver. Offering the most stylish addition to any discerning jewellery buyer’s collection.

If the jewellery you receive does not suit you, you may return or exchange it free of charge within 14 days and we will refund or send you an alternative piece at no extra cost (see our Returns Policy). If you find exactly the same design elsewhere at a lower price, please contact us with a written quotation and we will match the price. Please note this does not apply to special/bespoke orders.

Placing your Order Online

Shopping at Wave Jewellery is so easy – Just follow these simple steps:

  • Shop by browsing through our catalogue, or fall in love with a piece of jewellery online or in one of our stores.
  • Click on the image to view more information on the metal type, colour, type of gemstone and size.
  • Add the jewellery to your shopping cart by clicking on the ‘Add to cart’ button next to your chosen item.
  • Continue to Checkout and follow the online instructions to complete your purchase and to make payment.
  • All orders will be paid for in Pound Sterling.

Placing your Order by Phone

If you would prefer to place your order by telephone, contact one of our store assistants during opening hours 9.30am to 6pm GMT 01539 729805 or +44 (0) 1539 729805 if you are overseas.

A store assistant will be on hand to assist you from 9.30 am to 6.00pm, six days a week Monday to Saturday. Closed Sundays.

UK Orders

If you place your order online or over the telephone before 1pm, your jewellery will arrive by special delivery within 3 working days (Monday to Friday) and subject to the item being in stock as shown online. If you are ordering a ring in a specific finger size it will take longer, normally up to four weeks, however, we can often accommodate shorter time scales by request. We advise before you place the order that you request the date and we will confirm we can meet the deadline before the order is placed. We are pleased to also offer a collection service from any of our stores. For details or call us on01539 729805 to arrange a convenient collection time.

Please note that you can also have the gift delivered to the recipient by choosing to provide an alternative delivery address. If the name provided with the delivery address is different from that of the billing address, the purchase receipt will be sent to the billing address before delivery of the goods.

Overseas Orders

Overseas deliveries will arrive within 5–7 working days in Europe and the US, or within 5–8 working days for the rest of the world. A personal shop assistant will be on hand to assist you from 9.30am to 6.00pm GMT everyday except Sundays.

In Store terms and conditions of Sales

in common with other luxury jewellery brands we operate differing terms and condition in store to those online .These do not affect you statutory rights. These terms and conditions are over and above those required of wave by law and in line with good customer relations.   Please check at your local wave jewellery store or see the receipt/ back of you order/ receipts from the store for more details   

Gift Wrap

Your designer jewellery will arrive in either branded packaging or a beautiful matt grey Wave Jewellery box lined with aubergine coloured suede. You can also choose to have your jewellery gift wrapped in stylish yet simple gift–wrap and aubergine coloured, French silk ribbon.

Website Security & Personal Information Guarantee

Wave Contemporary Jewellery web technology is hosted on a secure server using SSL technology (secure sockets layer) to ensure that all credit or debit card transactions are completely secure.

We take the most reasonable measures to keep your personal information, order and payment details secure. However, we cannot be held liable if an event beyond our control results in loss to you.

Each time we receive an order, we use fraud checking systems as well as authentication processes before we fulfil it. When you use our website, the secure server will encrypt all of the personal information you send us, including credit or debit card number, name and address. Encryption turns the information you enter into complex code, which is then securely transmitted.


DELIVERY

UK Next Day Delivery

Delivery to addresses within the UK costs £7.50.

Orders received and cleared before 1pm Monday to Friday will be delivered by Royal Mail Special Delivery service within 3 working days. We endeavour to dispatch all orders within 3 working days subject to product availability and clearance of payment. This excludes special orders and non–stock specific sizes.

Please note that there are some areas within the UK where we cannot guarantee delivery before 1pm the next day, as detailed below:

Parcels will need to be signed for in person, so please state delivery address as an address where you will be present at the time of delivery (home or work). In the event that no one is available to receive a Special Delivery item, a card will be left providing you with the option to have the item delivered at a later date or to collect your parcel from your local collection depot. You will need to take proof of address/identity to the depot with you.

International Delivery

We offer free delivery on some items.

All other items the delivery to overseas addresses costs £15.

Overseas deliveries arrive within 5-14 working days in Europe and the US, or within 5–14 working days for the rest of the world; please call us on +44 (0) 1539 729805 or emailcustomerservices@wavejewellery.com for more information.

Parcels will need to be signed for in person so it is your responsibility to ensure the delivery address is an address where you will be (home or work). If you are not present when your parcel is delivered, the courier company will leave a calling card and you will be able to reschedule your delivery/or collect from a local depot at a more convenient time.

Please also note that any duty and taxes incurred in the country of destination are the responsibility of the customer.

The transaction is taken in pounds sterling. Alternate payment method are available such as bank transfer/wires please call our personal in store advisor on +44 (0) 1539 729805 or emailcustomerservices@wavejewellery.com to discuss your requirements, and we will advise if any additional cost and delivery time is required.

Special Services

If you urgently need your jewellery for a specific date or require a bespoke service such as an engagement ring or a special gift, please call on 01539 729805 (within the UK) or +44 (0) 1539 729805 (for overseas orders) to enquire. We endeavour to accommodate your special requirements outside our standard services.

Bespoke orders, specially sized rings and commissioned jewellery

At Wave Contemporary Jewellery we have a wealth of talent available. If you would like to have something specially made, please speak to one of our in store personal shoppers who will be more than happy to help and advise and even create unique or personalised designs for you.

Once the request of a bespoke order has been verified we will send you a written confirmation of this with an estimated delivery time normally 4–5 weeks often less if required. The order can then be processed as soon as we receive payment. This can be made in full or by means of a non–refundable 50% deposit. The payment can then be completed when we receive your special piece of jewellery into stock and before we send it out to you.

The item will be a Special Order, which means it will be made just for you, as it is not a piece in the size we are carrying in stock. Due to this fact the jewellery cannot be exchanged or returned under any circumstances unless by prior written agreemen Also, pierced products (such as earrings), cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.t.

We request that you reply to us via email to acknowledge and confirm that you are happy with these terms of the Special Order.

GIFT VOUCHERS

Purchasing Gift Vouchers

You can purchase gift vouchers at Wave Contemporary Jewellery. These can be added to your shopping basket as a normal item. Your gift vouchers will be sent to you or the chosen recipient of your gift in the post.

Gift vouchers are available in all denominations (from £10 to £10,000) and you can purchase any multiple of these vouchers, which are beautifully printed and come with uniquely generated codes. Your gift recipient will be able to redeem them in any of the stores or against any jewellery purchase online by emailing giftvouchers@wavejewellery.com.

Using Gift Vouchers

Each voucher has an individual Voucher Number.

Simply return your gift voucher to Wave Jewellery and state the item against which you would like to redeem it. The item will be despatched accordingly (see delivery times).

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES INFORMATION

Returns

Wave Contemporary Jewellery operates a 'If it’s not right, return it' policy.This means that you can return your jewellery for whatever reason you may have. A Returns number must be requested from Wave Jewellery within 14 days of delivery. Wave is unable to refund delivery charges in this instance.

Returns numbers can be obtained by emailing us at returns@wavejewellery.com. Once you have received your Returns number please take care to follow the instructions emailed to you and detailed below. Please note that unidentified returns/exchanges may be returned to the sender.

We request that all goods being returned from within the UK are returned within 14 days of issuing your Returns number. 
International returns should be shipped within 14 days of issuing your Returns number. You are not able to return items, which have been worn or have had the security tag removed. Items must be returned in saleable condition.

Returns received outside the above time frames are accepted at the discretion of Wave Contemporary Jewellery and can only be refunded as a merchandise credit note or in exchange for a piece of jewellery to the same value.

We will extend the exchange/ returns dates to 10th January for Christmas gifts bought after 10 December . Please state it is a christmas present at the point of placing the order.  

Wave Jewellery does not accept returns of any items where they have been worn and tags removed. Upon receipt of an order, if any item has been received with no tags, customer should notify us (by phone or email) on the same day if they wish to return.

We strongly advise all customers to check their purchase thoroughly upon delivery before removing any attached tags and before disposing of any original packaging.

In the event of any failure to return any goods to us within the stipulated time limits, even though validly cancelled, we shall have the right to charge any costs of recovery of the goods.

Please be aware that International customs duties and sales taxes are NOT refunded for shipments outside the European Community (EU).

Bespoke items and special sizes are Special Orders, this means that we do not carry the specific item as standard stock, the item will be made especially for you; because of this, the piece of jewellery cannot be exchanged or returned under any circumstances.

How to proceed if you would like to return your goods from the UK

  1. In order to facilitate the return of your items you must obtain a Returns number by emailing us at info@wavejewellery.com or calling us on +44(0) 1539 729805 within 14 days of receiving your order.
  2. All items must be attached with the security tag intact, not be worn and in their original condition.
  3. Please place items in the original packaging and ensure the outer box/packaging is completely sealed.

We request that returns are shipped through Royal Mail Special Delivery. Please note that we do not accept liability for returned goods, if you do not return them to us via Royal Mail Special Delivery. You should take your item for return to a Post Office for return by Royal Mail Special Delivery within 7 days of receiving the Returns number. The return address and is stated on paperwork supplied with your goods. Failure to obtain a Returns number or to return goods other than via Royal Mail Special Delivery does not affect your statutory rights.

How to return your goods from overseas

  1. Call +44 (0) 1539 729805 or email info@wavejewellery.com within 7 working days of receipt of your item(s) and ask for a ‘Returns number’.
  2. All returns for any particular order need to be returned in one shipment.
  3. All items must have the security tag attached and intact.
  4. The Returns number should be written on your original invoice. In addition, please put the item in the original packaging and seal and pack it securely. If the item is returned damaged we will not be able to issue a refund.
  5. Once we have received the item(s) we will refund the amount due to your credit card. This will only be refunded on the same credit card on which the item was paid for Shipping charges are non–refundable.

How to proceed if you wish to return faulty goods

  1. In order to facilitate the return of faulty items you must obtain a Returns number by emailing us at info@wavejewellery.com and follow the standard returns process as detailed above.
  2. Faulty items will only be accepted if the goods are delivered to the customer damaged or there is a subsequent manufacturing fault within a period of 6 months after delivery. All items returned as faulty will be inspected and any damage deemed to subject to normal wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty.
  3. Where possible items may be repaired on request, but only where such items are deemed faulty and repairable. Repairs do not come with any guarantees.
  4. It may be possible for us to repair items which have suffered wear and tear. There will be a charge for this service which will be confirmed in advance of any work carried out, this will also cover the cost of shipping and any other costs incurred.

Receiving a refund

Refunds to you will be made within 30 days of the date of cancellation notice. On the same card or by the same means the good were paid for initially. All undamaged, correctly returned products will be credited to the original purchaser's credit card including sales taxes for all EU country shipments excluding shipping charges. As previously stated, International customs duties and sales taxes are non–refundable for shipments outside the European Community (EU).

Alternatively, you can request a Wave Contemporary Jewellery merchandise credit that can be used against future purchase at www.wavejewellery.com.

Gift Returns

If you have received an item from Wave Contemporary Jewellery as a gift you can return it for an exchange or a credit note within the parameters outlined in this Returns Policy. Please call us on01539 729805 (UK) or +44 (0) 1539 729805 (overseas) to arrange this.

Exchange:
You will be charged for any difference in cost and any additional shipping, taxes and import duties.

Credit note:
Once issued, credit notes are valid for 6 Months

Returns Policy for items on sale — Same policy as above.

EXCHANGES

If you would like to exchange your purchase for an alternative item please contact us to let us know by also emailing us at info@wavejewellery.com or contact one of our jewellery/watch experts us by phone for advice on a more suitable item on: 01539 729805

Alternatively, to secure your chosen exchange you can make your purchase by phone or online and we will refund your original item when it is returned to us.

Exchanged items can only be dispatched after the returned goods have been received and undergone a quality control check.

We regret we are unable to return or exchange special orders or bespoke items . We are unable to exchannge or refund earrings or produts for pieRCings  for hygiene purposes.

Exchanges received outside of the above stated timescales are also subject to product availability and the customer will incur any shipping costs for such exchanges. Any further returns of exchanged items outside the stated timescales will again be at the customers cost for shipping and refunded only as a merchandise credit at the discretion of Wave Contemporary Jewellery.

How to return your goods for exchange from the UK

  1. In order to facilitate the return of your items you must obtain an Exchanges Number (En) number by emailing us at info@wavejewellery.com or calling us on 01539 729805 within 14 days of receiving your order.
  2. All returns for any particular order need to be returned in one shipment. Any subsequent returns from the same order may incur additional shipping charges to you.
  3. All items must be attached with the security tag intact, not be worn and in their original condition.
  4. Please place items in the original packaging and ensure the outer box is package is properly sealed.
  5. We request that returns are shipped through Royal Mail Special Delivery. Please note that we do not accept liability for returned goods if you do not return them to us via Royal Mail Special Delivery. You should take your item for return to a Post Office for return by Royal Mail Special Delivery within 7 days of receiving the Exchange number. The return address and Licence number is stated on the pre–printed labels supplied with your goods. Failure to obtain a returns number or to return goods other than via Royal Mail Special Delivery does not affect your statutory rights.
  6. If you do not have a Returns Address please contact our customer service team on 01539 729805.

How to return your goods for exchange from overseas

  1. Call +44 (0) 1539 729805 or email info@wavejewellery.com within 14 working days of receipt of your item(s) and ask for an ‘Exchanges number’.
  2. All returns for any particular order need to be returned in one shipment.
  3. All items must have the security tag attached and intact.
  4. You will be issued with a returns number and the wave jewellery Returns address, so you can arrange a delivery for your return. All items must be returned to Wave Jewellery securely, we do not accept responsibility for returns sent using any other method. The return must be shipped within 14 days of receiving a Returns number. Please ensure that you write clearly on the FedEx paperwork that the item is being returned.
  5. The Returns number should be written on your original invoice. In addition, please complete the Returns Form. Please put the item in the original packaging and seal it securely.
  6. Once we have received the item(s) we will refund the amount due to your credit card (the same on which you paid). Shipping charges are non–refundable.
